Culture and Creativity NPO

We are delighted that our funding from Arts Council England (initially awarded for 2023-26), which recognises the London Borough of Merton as a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) has been extended until 2027.

Created and delivered by Merton Libraries, our Culture and Creativity NPO includes partner events, The Merton Big Read, Manga and Graphic Novel Workshops and Artists Work in Libraries commissions, allowing us to build on our extensive offer of high-quality events and cultural experiences for all our residents and visitors.

Artists Work in Libraries

Artists Work in Libraries, commissions artists who are interested in working in the context of libraries in innovative ways to showcase their work to diverse local communities.

Wimbledon BookFest is a leading literary festival in London and the main commissioned partner to deliver a literary programme (below) as part of Merton's National Portfolio organisation.
