Made in Merton is a community arts group with three core members: Janet Goring, Siobhan Kneale and Portia Dadley. Together, they aim to reinvigorate Merton’s craft heritage using sustainable textiles. They run sewing and print workshops within the community, encouraging people to learn hands-on skills and to take pride in what they produce. That work is often incorporated into artworks that are displayed in community venues.
